IP is a gap year programme offered by 3C Ministries to both local and international persons, aged 18-25 years, that are passionate about God and who want to give a year of their lives in service of His cause in the earth.

The IP programme promises to be an adventure of a lifetime! Each student has the opportunity to thrive under the personal guidance and oversight of both a pastor and a departmental manager throughout the year. With the focus on the wholistic development of the individual, the programme is designed to give him/her exposure to a wide variety of aspects of the ministry. Valuable work experience is gained and specific skills developed in the respective departments such as video editing, sound engineering, event organization, office administration etc. Formal lectures cover various theological and lifestyle topics aimed at enriching the students’ bible knowledge and life skills. Further to these, the students are involved in many community development and upliftment programmes and other outreaches at local high schools, colleges, informal settlements and community centres.

How long does it take to complete a learnership?

Duration: Ten (10) Months (February to November)

Non-Contact Duration: Learners will be required to invest the necessary additional hours per module on additional reading, practical assignments, and building with the support of the supervisor and/or coach. A workplace log will also have to be completed.

Departments:

Graphic Design

Use those creative ideas for developing branding concepts for our conferences, encounter weekend themes and many other events, as well as creating graphics for print media, from postcards to billboards, or try your hand at expanding our merchandise branding designs.

Film Arts

Equipped with professional cameras and editing suites, our film department is responsible for the recording as well as editing of all our services and events for church, television and web broadcasts.

Finance

Team up with qualified accountants and learn everything from creating purchase orders to accounts capturing on Sage One Pastel.

Sound Engineering

Have the ear? Get the know-how.

Learn in our Sound Department how to mix and record sound on state of the art digital equipment.

Creative Arts

Our Creative Arts Department includes drama, poetry, singing and dancing training and performances. As part of the Creative Arts Department you will also be involved in the administration and managing of our Art of Faith youth talent development programme.

Administration

Organisation and scheduling of all services and events including our weekend church services and our conference are done by the administrators who will be teaching these valuable life skills to the students.

Community Projects

Bright Smiles Bright Future focuses on the development of impoverished communities through various initiative like feeding projects, school aid in the form of food, stationery packs, blankets, school photos, Christmas gifts etc.

Facility Management

Digital lighting set up and use, multimedia presentations and more are run by the Facility Team. 

Pastoral

3C Ministries is involved in many of the local high schools, empowering and encouraging the youth with the word of God. In this department you will be paired up with a pastor who will teach you foundational principles regarding all church ad ministry related activities.

IT Department

IT is the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data. You will learn how to operate and manage our telecommunications equipment.
